Transport lanes
A lane describes the connection between two buildings: how long goods travel, what a trip costs, and from what size a shipment makes sense. Without a lane the module falls back to the global transit lead time and cannot judge whether a trip is worth it.

A lane is one-directional
Section titled “A lane is one-directional”It starts at this warehouse and ends at the chosen one. The return direction is created from the other building’s lanes tab.
Add lane → Destination warehouse. One lane may exist per pair of buildings.
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”- Transit (days) — how many days goods travel. It fills the expected arrival date when a transfer is confirmed. Empty means the global transit lead time.
- Cadence (hours) — the planned rhythm of departures, in hours, so that 24 describes one departure a day.
- Cost per trip — the flat cost of a single trip, stamped on the transfer at confirmation.
- Minimum measured in — what the minimum shipment is measured in: Value, Weight (kg) or No minimum.
- Minimum shipment — the threshold a shipment has to reach to be worth the trip.
Weight tiers
Section titled “Weight tiers”The Weight tiers section prices a trip by the total weight of the shipment: From [kg], Up to [kg], Cost. The last bracket is always open (∞), and typing a bound into it starts the next one.
Where tiers exist they override the flat cost per trip. Products without a weight fall back to the flat figure.
The purpose of a lane
Section titled “The purpose of a lane”A lane records the transport parameters that would otherwise be known only to the dispatcher:
- time — the arrival date is known, so it can be checked whether the goods reach an order in time,
- cost and minimum — the module does not propose a trip across the country for three units,
- rhythm — suggestions and schedules are aligned with the actual departure timetable.
