Drill Down
The other reports answer questions about a set of products. This one answers questions about one product, and it is the right place when the question is what happened to specific goods.
Stockly → Dashboard → Drill Down. A product is selected with the search and confirmed with Show report.
Figures
Section titled “Figures”Stock, Available, Stock Value, Days of Stock.
The Overview tab
Section titled “The Overview tab”Revenue & Quantity Over Time — revenue and units sold over time, with a comparison against the previous period. One chart shows whether a revenue drop comes from fewer sales or from a price change.
The Performance tab
Section titled “The Performance tab”- Stock Replenishment Pattern — when and how much stock was added. Irregular replenishment is a frequent cause of “strange” shortages.
- Days of Supply Trend — how many days of cover the product had over time, banded into Critical (<7d), Low (7-30d) and Healthy (30d+).
- Stock & Price History — stock and price on one chart; the simplest way to check whether a discount actually moved sales.
Where the data comes from
Section titled “Where the data comes from”Stock and price history come from daily snapshots. Until they accumulate, the historical charts stay empty; the current figures are available immediately.
When to reach for this report
Section titled “When to reach for this report”- A customer asks why goods ran out despite an order with the supplier.
- A reorder suggestion appears implausible and the basis for it has to be checked.
- Sales dropped and it has to be established whether the cause is stock or demand.
