Back in stock notifications
A customer lands on the page of a product that is out of stock. They can leave an e-mail address and receive a message when the goods return. This mechanism turns a shortage into a deferred sale.
Stockly → Back in Stock.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- The customer subscribes on the page of an unavailable product.
- The subscription waits until the product becomes available.
- When the goods return, whether through a delivery, a transfer, a return or a stocktake correction, the module sends the notification.
- Clicks in the message are recorded, so the effectiveness is visible.
Availability is computed from warehouse stock, so the notification goes out when the goods are really on the shelf, not when they appear on a supplier order.
The dashboard
Section titled “The dashboard”Key Performance Indicators: Active subscriptions, Sent notifications, Click-through rate, New subscriptions.
Charts: Subscriptions & Subscribers and Notifications & Clicks; the first shows demand for unavailable goods, the second the effectiveness of the notifications.
Most Subscribed Products is the most practical table in the whole module: the products people are waiting for most. That is measured demand rather than a forecast, which makes it a sound basis for buying decisions.
Latest Activity shows recent events: new subscriptions, sends and clicks.
Both of those tables are summaries of a screen of their own. Stockly → Back in Stock → Most subscribed is the full ranking, searchable by product name or number, with Stock, Available stock and Subscriptions side by side, which is the comparison a buying decision actually needs. The Stockly → Back in Stock → Activity log is the complete history, filtered by Activity type (New subscriber, New subscription, Notification sent, Notification clicked) and by date.
