Notification settings

Stockly → Settings → Back In Stock. The settings are stored per sales channel, so a retail shop and a wholesale one can behave differently.

Notifications use Shopware’s mail templates, which are located under Settings → Shop → Email templates. Changing the wording needs no change in the module.

A notification is sent after goods really return to stock: a delivery, a transfer, a return or a stocktake correction. A supplier order does not trigger a send, because the goods still do not exist in the warehouse.

  1. Is the mechanism enabled for this sales channel: the settings are per channel.
  2. Did stock pass the threshold: at a threshold of 5 a single unit triggers nothing.
  3. Are the addresses confirmed: with confirmation on, unconfirmed addresses receive nothing.
  4. Is queue processing running: sending happens in the background. → Background jobs

Send effectiveness is visible on the dashboard: the number sent and the click-through rate.
