Floor elements
A floor element is any object drawn on a floor. Some hold goods, some shape the route, and some only group an area.
The plan’s toolbar (Tools → Place) offers:

| Aisle | a walkable corridor; non-blocking, but it shapes routes |
| Wall | a solid blocker routes cannot cross |
| Zone | a translucent overlay grouping a region (A/B/C classes, picking strategy) |
| Packing | a packing station; it can belong to a specific user |
| Unpacking | an unpacking station for inbound goods |
| Picking cart | a trolley a wave is collected onto. Added from the element list rather than the tool strip — a cart is not drawn on the floor, it moves around it |
Elements defined without a drawing (from the elements list) can be placed on a floor through Unassigned elements.
The elements list
Section titled “The elements list”Stockly → Warehouses → warehouse → Elements shows every element of the building: Label, Type, Floor, Color, Zone, Shelves, Owner.
The On the map filter separates Placed on a floor from Not on the map, which finds the elements that were defined but never put on the drawing.
Rack parameters
Section titled “Rack parameters”The element form (Edit) decides how many bins it produces:
- Number of shelves — the number of levels.
- Width divisions — how many bins fit across the shelf width (left to right).
- Access — One-sided (against wall) is one bin deep; Two-sided (island) splits into front and back bins.
- Deep rack (drive-in / flow) with Depth divisions — for drive-in and pallet-flow racks holding several bins front-to-back.
- ABC Zone — the zone class, used by storage rules and the counting cadence.
- Color, Label — appearance and caption on the plan.
- Leads to floor — for stairs: the target floor.
Levels multiplied by width and depth divisions gives the number of locations the plan analysis will generate.
Assigned users
Section titled “Assigned users”Assigned users in the element form says who works here. Empty shows No users.
On a packing or unpacking station it says where those operators work, and their printing goes to the device standing at it, which is what makes a label or a pick list come out at the right bench without anybody choosing a printer. → Printers
Scan codes
Section titled “Scan codes”A station can carry a printed label, and scanning it on a warehouse screen moves that device to that bench in one scan instead of a dialogue. The Scan code column shows which stations have one, and three actions produce them: Print scan label for a single station, Print station labels for the whole set, and Assign missing codes for stations that have none yet.
On a cart the behaviour differs: wave planning preselects the operator’s own cart, and no selection is enforced.
Deleting
Section titled “Deleting”Deleting an element cannot be undone, but it does not delete goods: the attached bin locations are detached from the plan and keep their stock. The module states how many are affected before the deletion is confirmed.
The Owner column matters in warehouses handling somebody else’s goods: a rack can be Shared, Own, or assigned to a specific owner. → Owners
