Rollout checklist

A list to work through in order. Every point has a screen where it can be verified — none of them requires taking anything on trust.

Stockly → Warehouses → Stock. The list shows products whose stock the module manages. If it is empty, or whole groups of products are missing, the wizard did not finish linking; run it again.

2. Orders open before the start are adopted

Section titled “2. Orders open before the start are adopted”

Stockly → Warehouses → Stock integrityAdopt open orders. If the dialog says there is nothing to adopt, the point is closed. If it shows orders, adopt them before anybody starts picking.

3. Stock sits on locations, not in the unassigned bucket

Section titled “3. Stock sits on locations, not in the unassigned bucket”

Stockly → Warehouses → warehouse → Stock. A large share of unassigned stock is acceptable, but deliberately so: either the mapping did not cover those products, or the locations do not exist yet. See Location mapping.

Stockly → Warehouses. The number of warehouses matches the number of buildings goods actually sit in. If not, see Opening count.

Stockly → Warehouses → Movement History. The opening count’s movements are visible here together with the stock before and after. No movements with two warehouses means the session was never posted.

Stockly → Warehouses → Stock integrity → run a check. Findings after a rollout are normal; what matters is that each was reviewed, not that the list is empty on day one. Some the module repairs itself, some need a decision.

Stockly → Purchasing → Stock Thresholds. Minimum and maximum thresholds drive purchase and transfer suggestions. Without them the module proposes nothing.

Settings → Users & Permissions in Shopware. The Stockly roles separate viewing from carrying out warehouse operations: a picker does not need rights to change settings.

Settings → Diagnostics → Background jobs. Mapping, recalculations and synchronisations run in the background. If jobs are stuck, check that the shop’s queue processing is running.

10. The first counting session is complete

Section titled “10. The first counting session is complete”

One rack counted and posted as described in First stocktake. It is the cheapest way to confirm that the book stock and the shelf say the same thing and, if they do not, the best moment to find out.
