Thresholds to decide

A threshold plan holds back what it is not sure about. Those proposals land here and wait for a person.

Stockly → Purchasing → Stock Thresholds → Thresholds to decide.

Product, Warehouse, Now / proposed, Change, ABC, Season, Held because.

Now / proposed shows both figures side by side, and Change the percentage move. That is enough to scan the list and stop at the jumps that look suspicious.

ReasonMeaning
The plan only proposesthe plan runs in propose-only mode
Dry runa dry run; nothing was meant to be written
Class A always goes to a personclass A needs a human decision
Too big a jump for an unattended writethe move exceeded the configured limit
The rule is managed by handthe threshold is managed manually and the plan leaves it alone
No sales to size it fromno sales to compute a threshold from
Nothing changedthe result equals the current threshold
  • Apply (7) — applies the selection,
  • Reject (7) — rejects the selection,
  • Apply all — applies everything, with a progress bar.

If the selection contained thresholds that were switched to manual management in the meantime, the module applies the rest and states how many rows it left alone.

Proposal statuses: Waiting for a decision, Applied, Skipped, Managed by hand, Rejected.

The Why this figure action breaks the result into its parts:

  • Sales rate, as measured — the measured sales rate,
  • Rate with the season removed — the rate with seasonality taken out,
  • Season over the lead time — the seasonal index for the period the delivery lands in,
  • Lead time (days) — the lead time,
  • Safety stock — the safety stock,
  • Share of the network — this building’s share of network demand,
  • Network minimum / maximum — the network-wide thresholds before splitting.

It also shows where the rate came from: Its own sales or The product family, split evenly, with the latter named explicitly as an estimate rather than a measurement.

The Season column says at what level a seasonal profile was found: Own history, Product family, Category, Supplier or No season.

“Nothing waiting for a decision” means the plan saved everything it computed, or that it has not run yet.
