Suggest search keywords

This assistant proposes search keywords for a product based on its existing text. The keywords land in the product form for you to review — they are added only when you save the product.

How to use

1. Open a product: Catalogues → Products → select a product.
2. In the card holding the Categories and Search keywords fields, click AI assistant and choose Suggest search keywords.
3. In the Suggest search keywords modal, set:
   • AI connection — which connection to use.
   • Min keywords / Max keywords — the target range for the number of keywords (0–50). Leave Min at 0 to let the AI return fewer when the product text is thin.
   • Source fields — which product fields to feed the AI as context: Meta keywords (the strongest signal), Name, Description, Manufacturer.
   • Additional instructions (optional) — e.g. include common misspellings, avoid stop words.
4. Click Run AI. The proposed keywords appear next to the Current ones, with the AI’s Reasoning.
5. Remove any you don’t want, then click Apply to form. Save the product to keep them.

Tips & gotchas

Tip

Keep Meta keywords ticked as a source. When a product already has a few good keywords, the AI uses them as the strongest hint for what to add.

Caution

Apply to form stages the keywords on the product but does not save. If you navigate away without saving, the suggestions are lost.
