Installation

Requirements

• Shopware 6.6.
• Access to the Shopware admin with permission to manage plugins.

The Filter Bar is an admin-only plugin: it adds nothing to your storefront, creates no database tables, and stores your searches and preferences in your normal user settings.

Install the plugin

1. Upload the plugin through Extensions → My extensions → Upload extension, or install it via Composer.
2. Open Extensions → My extensions, find Advanced Admin Filter and click Install.
3. Click Activate.
4. Clear the cache and let the administration rebuild when Shopware prompts you.

Once activated, the bar appears on its own — there is nothing else to switch on.

Check that it works

Open Catalogues → Products. Above the product list you should see a slim bar reading Click to add a condition…. If it is there, you are ready to build your first filter.

Where the settings live

The bar works out of the box, but you can tune its behaviour under:

Settings → Extensions → Filter Bar

There you control how conditions apply, which default operators each field type uses, text autocomplete, and the product-list extras. See Options for the full list.

Hiding and showing the bar

If you ever want the bar out of the way, use the collapse control at its edge — it shrinks to a small floating toggle labelled Show filter bar that brings it back. Collapsing is remembered per user, so it stays the way you left it.
