The filter bar

The filter bar is the single row above each listing where you build and manage conditions. This page names its parts so the rest of the documentation can refer to them.

When the bar is empty it shows Click to add a condition…. Clicking it opens the field list and starts a new condition. As you add conditions they appear inside the bar as pills, left to right, and the input stays available at the end so you can keep adding.

Each finished condition is a small pill with three readable parts — field · operator · value. A pill is interactive:

  • Click any part to reopen and edit it.
  • Hover it to reveal a × that removes just that condition.

Conditions that belong to a saved group are shown grouped together — see Groups.

At the left of the bar is a control that opens the dropdown. It gathers everything you have saved and used recently, in sections:

  • Recent searches — condition sets you applied a moment ago.
  • Favourite searches — searches you pinned.
  • Groups — your saved, named condition groups (and any published for the whole team).

The first three groups are shown with a More entry that expands the full list. The dropdown is also where you save the current conditions as your default filters. See Recent & favourite searches and Default filters.

At the right edge of the bar:

  • Apply conditions (the search button) applies everything you have built. In the default live mode conditions apply on their own; this button matters most when you collect several conditions first — see Applying conditions.
  • Clear all conditions removes every condition from the bar in one click. It clears the filtering only — your saved groups, favourites and defaults are untouched.

The bar can be collapsed out of the way. When collapsed it becomes a small floating toggle (Show filter bar) that restores it. The collapsed or expanded state is remembered per user.

On the product list the bar carries two extra controls next to the search button — a Show variants switch and the variant handling that comes with it. Those are covered in Product list.
