Placement overview

Every badge is configured for two contexts independently: detail pages and listing pages. The placement options differ slightly between the two because the surrounding template is different.

PlacementWhere it renders
Image overlayDirectly on the product image, in one of two slots — Left or Right. See Image overlay slots.
Above buy boxJust above the buy-box / add-to-cart area on the product detail page.
Below buy boxJust below the buy-box area.
HiddenNot rendered on detail pages (the badge will only appear on listings if configured there).

Listing page (category / search / CMS listing)

Section titled “Listing page (category / search / CMS listing)”
PlacementWhere it renders
Image overlayDirectly on the product card image, in the Left or Right slot.

Below product infoBelow the product name and price.
HiddenNot rendered on listings.

At least one of the two contexts must have a non-hidden placement, otherwise the badge will never appear.

The detail-page placement and the listing-page placement are configured separately on every badge. That lets you, for example:

  • Show the badge as a corner ribbon on listings but as a regular image overlay on detail pages.
  • Show the badge on detail only (full information) and skip listings.
  • Use different slots (left on listings, right on detail) without affecting the other.

Inside the image overlay placement there are two independent slots — Left and Right. Each slot has its own positioning, direction (horizontal / vertical / angled), spacing and styling defaults. A badge picks one of the two slots per page type.

See Image overlay slots for the full reference.

Any image-overlay slot can be set to Angled (45°) direction, turning every badge in that slot into a corner ribbon. You can also override the angled behaviour per badge.

See Angled ribbons.

Shopware ships with its own labels (discount %, top seller, “new”). To replace them with the plugin’s badges, toggle Hide default Shopware badges in the global configuration.

See Hide default Shopware badges.
