Shopping Experiences
Product Video registers a custom CMS block — P2Lab Video Player — that you can drop into any Shopping Experience (CMS page).
How to add the block
Section titled “How to add the block”- Open Content → Shopping Experiences and edit a page or layout.
- Drag the Video category in the block sidebar — you will find a P2Lab Video Player block.
- Drop it where you want.
- Click the block — the configuration wizard opens with the question “What kind of video would you like to create?”, offering two options:
- Embed Video — paste a URL (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
- HTML5 Video — pick a file from the media library
- Pick a kind, then configure the media (URL or media picker, display height, playback options).
- Save the page.
What you can put inside
Section titled “What you can put inside”The block accepts:
- Embedded videos (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, TikTok, Dailymotion, Gcore)
- Local HTML5 videos
- Multi-resolution video sources
Carousels, hotspots, 360° panoramas and 3D models are not available in v2 — those are exclusive to v3 on Shopware 6.7.
Storefront rendering
Section titled “Storefront rendering”The block respects the layout sizing of the surrounding CMS section (boxed / fullwidth) and applies the global Product Video settings (lazy loading, cookie consent).

Section titled “Use cases”- Landing pages — hero video as the first thing customers see
- Brand stories — a multi-paragraph layout with embedded videos
- Category headers — a product family showcase
