Embed video
Product Video v2 can embed video from six external providers. You paste a URL into the Embed Video card and the plugin recognises the source, fetches a thumbnail, and renders the right embed code on the storefront.

Source defaults are configured globally under Settings → System → System Config → Product videos → {provider} settings. Per-video overrides happen on the product media form.
How to add an embedded video
Section titled “How to add an embedded video”- Open a product → Media tab.
- Click Add file or Add from media library to create a media entry, then select it.
- In the media side panel, find the Embed Video card. Click Add and paste the URL — the plugin auto-detects YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, TikTok, Dailymotion and Gcore.
- The thumbnail is fetched automatically for YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok and Dailymotion.
- Switch to the Settings tab inside the media entry to configure per-video playback (autoplay, muted, loop, controls, theme).
- Save the product.
Playback options
Section titled “Playback options”The Settings tab exposes common toggles across all sources:
- Mark video as cover
- Autoplay, Muted, Loop, Controls, Play inline, Keyboard
- Start video at / End video at — clip the playable range (YouTube)
YouTube exposes additional source-specific options:

Vimeo additionally exposes Creator, Title, Portrait and a controls colour picker.
