Connections
Everything this extension does goes through one connection. Set it up first; the rest of the screens stay inert without it.
Stockly → Settings → AI Assistant, the Connections tab, card AI provider connections.
The list
Section titled “The list”Columns: Name, Provider, Model, Status, Last tested.
Status is Connected, Untested or Error. The row menu holds Edit, Test connection and Delete.
Adding one
Section titled “Adding one”Add connection opens a three-step wizard: Credentials, Model, Review.
Credentials takes a Name, a Provider and an API key. Base URL (optional) stays empty unless the provider sits behind an address of your own — left empty, the provider’s default endpoint is used.
Model lists what the account can actually reach and asks for the one used for PDF analysis.
Review shows the details, offers Test connection and saves.
Run the test before saving. A key that was pasted with a missing character fails here in one second; left untested, it fails on the first document instead, halfway through an import.
The voice model
Section titled “The voice model”The Model step also carries Voice model (packing assistant) — a TTS model, a Voice and a Listen button that speaks a sample line. It is optional: without it every other function still works, and the packing assistant falls back to the browser’s own voice.
Use Listen rather than saving on faith. The voices differ more in pace than in timbre, and pace is what decides whether a picker with a trolley catches a bin name the first time.
Deleting one
Section titled “Deleting one”Turning on the log
Section titled “Turning on the log”Stockly → Settings → AI Assistant, the Config tab, holds Enable OpenAI API logs. It is off by default; with it on, every call is recorded with its token count.
